An informational and fundraising website for a 168' long interactive, kinetic public sculpture of a skeletal serpent, coiled around her egg with multiple flame effects erupting from the top of her vertebrae. The sculpture is the creation of the Flaming Lotus Girls, a primarily female arts collaborative.
The Serpent Mother is an interactive artwork, which transforms the audience into participants in the creation of the performance. The website uses a portfolio of primarily night photography to recreate the physical presence of the sculpture.
